  "methodology": "Fuel values are direct EIA weekly national and regional averages. Freight values remain separate by definition: monthly all-in spot rates include a fuel surcharge, while the weekly figures are linehaul only. TruckMargin never treats the two as interchangeable. Calculator outputs are estimates and users should price each actual lane and fuel purchase independently."
